LAKE COMO  Lake Como has always been a popular retreat for aristocrats and the wealthy crowd since Roman times, and holds many artistic and cultural gems. Famous people have or have had homes on the shores of Lake Como as it is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. The author of recently released 'Love is Eating' Italian cookbook in the English language, and a native of Lake Como, is offering informal lessons on authentic, traditional, and healthy Italian cuisine, the benefits of the Mediterranean diet, history and culture. Cooking is Paola’s passion that has been passed down to her from generations.

T he best way to start this experience is to explore the colorful Como street market, and follow Paola while she will select all the seasonal ingredients needed for the menu from her trusted local food suppliers.  The lesson will be held in her home, and will include two to three recipes  using fresh seasonal ingredients. An antipasto and a glass of Prosecco will set the mood, but above all expect plenty of good food and many stories to tell!
