WELCOME TO CATANIA
Chauffeur collection at Fontanarossa Airport. Private transfer to the province of Agrigento on the western side of the island, accompanied by Nicoletta, your guide.
Arrival at the charming country chic resort surrounded by olive and palm trees. To stay here is to be thrust into the heart of Sicilian family life, with its emphasis on conviviality and the cucina.
Welcome dinner at the Resort.
SCIACCA AND COOKING CLASS #1
Departure around 9am to Sciacca, a lovely historic fishing port up the coast from Agrigento famous for its ceramics and its anchovies. Nicoletta will guide you through, wandering up and down the narrow lanes and alleys, from the port up to the upper side of town.
Return to the Resort for Cooking Class #1 in the afternoon followed by dinner. The lesson will be held by Chef Silvia and son Gabriele.
COOKING DEMO BY 2-STAR MICHELIN CHEF AND RAGUSA IBLA VISIT
Today you will enjoy an amazing Cooking Demo by official 2-Star Michelin Chef who cooked for the First Ladies during the May 2017 G7 in Taormina.
Following your Michelin Lunch, you will depart to the Ragusa area where you will be staying for the next 2 nights in a splendid Luxury Resort with view to the Mediterranean.
On your way to the Resort, you will stop at Ragusa Ibla, a beautiful Baroque Town for a guided visit. Massimiliano, your guide, will show you the most stunning historical center and will invite you to an apéritif. You will be tasting a selection of Sicilian appetizers, country bread, local organic extra virgin olive oil paired with Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG wine and others...
Arrival at the Resort around 8:15pm. Unpack and relax for the evening!
MARZAMEMI SEAPORT - BOAT RIDE AND NOTO VISIT
This morning, together with Massimiliano, your guide, you will explore the lovely seaport village of Marzamemi. A pleasant walking tour and a boat ride with transparent bottom to admire the sea bed (weather permitting) will be followed by an amazing seafood lunch right on the beach.
In the afternoon, Massimiliano will accompany you to Noto for a visit to the historical center, and also for a delightful taste of granita siciliana with brioche and cannoli maybe, at famous "Caffè Sicilia" of Chef Corrado Assenza, a legend and on of the best pastry chef in Italy!
Back to the Resort late afternoon for a relaxed evening.
After breakfast, your chauffeur will take you to Fontanarossa Airport.

DEPARTURE TO CATANIA - SICILIAN FARM VISIT AND TASTING
Departure to Catania after breakfast.
Stop along the way to Vizzini for a visit and tasting lunch in a splendid typical Sicilian Farm where horses are kept free.
You will be greeted with an appetizer consisting of pistachio salami, Sicilian black pig salami with fennel, as well as local cheeses with jams and honey paired with d'Avola Sicilian red wine. And this is not over... Massimiliano will start cooking on the spot some cavatelli pasta with the help of a "maidda" a wooden recipient providing a real food celebration...
Arrival in Catania in the afternoon. Check in your 4* hotel in the center, 5 min walking distance from the shopping district. Antonio, your guide, will show you the most important sites of this beautiful city at the feet of the Etna volcano.
FISH MARKET VISIT AND COOKING CLASS #4
This morning, together with Antonio, your guide, you will be visiting the most beautiful fish market in Sicily. You can't come to Catania without visiting its fish market! This visit will also be combined with the purchase of ingredients needed for your next cooking class at the food academy in the afternoon. While visiting the market, Antonio will show you where to taste the famous granita with brioche as well as some delightful finger foods...
Cooking class #4 in the afternoon at Chef Giovanni's Food Academy followed by informal dinner paired with typical Sicilian wines.

VALLEY OF THE TEMPLES VISIT AND COOKING CLASS #2
Cooking Class #2 at the Resort in the morning followed by lunch.
Later afternoon guided visit of the Valley of Temples. An exceptional historic tertimony to the Greek presence in this area. The archaeological site at Agrigento was inserted onto the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. You will also visit the Garden of Kolymbetra, one of the 10 most beautiful gardens in Italy.
